2017 Pacifica vs. 2017 Toyota Sienna in Cincinnati

Posted by Jessica McFall on Wed, Sep 21, 2016 @ 17:09 PM

Minivans are certainly a hot commodity around town; they're versatile, safe, and roomy and have cutting edge safety features that make the whole family smile. With every new model year comes new upgrades, new features and all-new styling, which just gets you more bang for your buck! This model year, we have two minivans on our mind – the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and the 2017 Toyota Sienna in Cincinnati. However, only one can reign as superior. Beechmont Toyota is set to find out which it is!

Safety first! You're probably even considering a minivan because you have precious cargo on board, so let's compare safety features. The Sienna Limited Premium has FWD optional pre-crash front seatbelts that automatically tighten when the vehicle detects a possible collision which overall improves protection. The Pacifica does not offer this. A couple of other features that the Sienna has but the Pacifica doesn't are the Active Headrests, which protects the driver and passenger from whiplash. The other is the Sienna's AWD option, which you may know works especially well in the snow to maximize traction!

Minivans are known for their exceptional amount of cargo space, but the Sienna has the Pacifica beat in this area, too. With 39.1 cubic feet behind the 3rd seat and 150 total cubic feet for the maximum cargo volume, it's hard to say what you won't be able to fit in the new Sienna. The Pacifica on the other hand, only touts 32.3 cu. Ft. of room behind the 3rd seat and a maximum cargo volume of just 140.5 feet. Go big or go home, we always say!

Recommended by Consumer Reports and recognized as a "Best Value in Class," the Sienna also has better technology features than the Chrysler minivan. The 2017 Sienna has front and rear one-touch power windows, a standard locking fuel door, and a standard automatic on/off feature. All of these combined make for a more efficient and enjoyable driving experience, especially when the whole family is on board!

Does the 2017 Sienna seem like the best option for you and your family? Stop by your favorite Toyota Cincinnati Dealer, Beechmont Toyota, today to take it for a spin! It'll be love at first key-turn.

2017 RAV4 Safety Ratings Top the Charts

Posted by Jessica McFall on Wed, Sep 14, 2016 @ 15:09 PM

Screen_Shot_2016-09-14_at_2.03.24_PM-1.png

It's easy to see why the Toyota RAV4 has always been (and continues to be) a top vehicle choice for any age or stage of life at Beechmont Toyota. It has more than ample cargo and passenger space, it's the perfect amount of sporty paired with elegance, and it's incredibly safe. This year, Toyota continues the RAV4 tradition by receiving top safety ratings yet again! Let's take a look at what the 2017 RAV4 Safety Ratings are for this model year.

Every year, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration conducts several different tests in which new vehicles have to pass certain requirements to earn the top ratings. In this case, both the 2017 Toyota RAV4 and the 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid received top ratings. Mores specifically, the 2017 RAV4 received 4 starts in the front crash test, 5 starts in the side crash test and 4 starts in the rollover crash test. These ratings are important to those of you considering the new RAV4, because it ensures you're driving a vehicle that can withstand more than just a fender-bender!

These top safety ratings have a lot to do with the implementation of the cutting edge Toyota Safety Sense P. Toyota Safety Sense P combines an in-vehicle camera and front-grille-mounted, millimeter-wave radar for enhanced performance and more functionality.
• Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection function (PCS w/PD) —Vehicle Detection & Pedestrian Detection
• Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist function (LDA w/SA) (EPS-equipped vehicles)
• Automatic High Beams (AHB)
• Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)

Although the 2017 RAV4 has yet to be evaluated by the Insurance Institute for highway safety, we can expect top safety ratings in their categories, too. There's nothing quite like driving a crossover SUV that is just as safe as it is stylish and you really do get to have your cake and eat it to when the new 2017 RAV4 arrives at Beechmont Toyota!

Top Family Car in Cincinnati: 2016 Toyota Sienna

Posted by Jessica McFall on Wed, Aug 17, 2016 @ 16:08 PM

The Toyota Sienna has been a family favorite for several years at Beechmont Toyota, and now it's officially a Top 10 Family Car of the Year by Edmunds.com and Parents Magazine! What makes the Sienna a top family car in Cincinnati? It could be Toyota's dedication to family safety, or maybe the fact that it has all-wheel drive, or maybe it’s the top-of-the-line technology in the Sienna, or all of the above!

Top_Family_Car_in_cincinnati.jpg

The Sienna was chosen as a top family car on a basis of several factors. They took into consideration quality of ride, safety, comfort and capacity, fuel efficiency, kid-friendly features, price and value, reliability, interior and exterior workmanship, visibility, controls and instrumentation, appearance, ergonomics and special features. So, as you can see, it wasn't an easy feat being named a top family car. You really have to have it all to place.

“The endlessly roomy Sienna stands above its competitors for two reasons: It’s the only one with available all-wheel drive, and the especially user-friendly controls help you stay focused on the road,” Parents Magazine writes.

 2016_toyota_sienna_passenger-minivan_xle-premium-7-passenger_cc_oem_2_717.jpg

The 2016 Toyota Sienna had parents top-of-mind when designing the Sienna. For instance, the van has four LATCH locations for child seats and a Driver Easy Speak option so you can be hands free when commanding the multi-media system. Carting children around is hard enough, but Toyota aims to make it as easy as possible in the 2016 Sienna.

In addition to those features, the Sienna has a Dual-View Entertainment Center with two 16.4-inch widescreen images for those lengthy road trips that are otherwise drawn out. As you can see, as much as Toyota had the parents in mind, they had the kids in mind, too! Also for road trips, the Sienna has a removable 3rd row seat to add additional cargo space, which could provide an incredible 150 cubic feet of space. There's a plethora of storage spaces, bins and cup holders too, so you'll never worry about spills.

What else makes the case for the Toyota Sienna being named a top family car in Cincinnati? Check it out today by stopping by Beechmont Toyota for a test-drive! Bring the kids, too, we know they'll be just as excited!

2017 Honda Accord vs. 2017 Toyota Camry in Cincinnati

Posted by Jessica McFall on Wed, Aug 3, 2016 @ 17:08 PM

If you keep up with the car market even a little bit, then you know a couple of things. Sedans are one of the hottest selling vehicles in America, and of those sedans, the Camry and Accord have been two of the most popular sedans. They both have very similar traits about them, but if we're being completely honest, one has just more to overall more to offer than the other, and that is the 2017 Toyota Camry in Cincinnati. We're so confident about this that today we invite you to follow along as Beechmont Toyota compares the two top-selling vehicles!

The 2017 Camry is bold on the outside, but doesn't take a risk on the inside. The 2016 Camry received the NHTSA 5-star rating, and although the 2017 hasn't been tested yet, it can only mean one thing – exceptional safety ratings are to come. The Camry comes equipped with not 5, not 6, but 10 airbags for your safety. It even includes a standard knee airbag that the Accord doesn't even have as an option. Other safety features on the Camry include:

  • Pre-Collision System
  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
  • Star Safety System (Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Smart Stop Technology®(SST).
  • Safety Connect (Toyota's emergency assistance system)
  • Whiplash-Injury-Lessening seats

Another perk of the Camry is the power that it produces. With its 2.5L 4-cyliner engine, the Camry cranks out 268 horsepower. The Accord, on the other hand, has a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine, which obviously is less powerful. The 2017 Camry has Electric Power Steering to optimize the already smooth ride. It's not just a sedan, it's really a sport vehicle fueled by the sport handling. In addition to that, the Camry's transmission is powered by a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that allows it to switch gears seamlessly and more efficiently.

Lastly, let's talk about technology! The 2017 Camry has the most advanced technology offerings yet. So many in fact, we'll try to list the most important ones:

  • Dual-zone AC
  • Entune Audio and App Suite
  • Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging (XLE & above)
  • Back up camera
  • Push start button (XLE & above)
  • 60/40 split fold-down rear seat
  • Two 12V auxiliary power outlets
  • Bluetooth
  • Steering wheel controls

Better safety, comfort and style? Yeah, we're on board with the 2017 Toyota Camry in Cincinnati and we hope you are too! Experience the amazing Camry today at Beechmont Toyota, we promise you won't be disappointed!
